Removal of branches, leaves, and debris from your roof surface — clearing away the buildup that traps moisture and accelerates wear.
Leaves, twigs, and fallen branches that collect on a roof do more than look messy — they trap moisture against the shingles, create the perfect environment for moss and algae to take hold, and can even attract pests looking for a place to nest. A roof cleaning clears all of that off, giving your roof a chance to dry out properly and reducing the buildup that shortens shingle life over time.
What’s Included
- Removal of tree limbs, branches, and debris from the roof surface
- Full blow-off of leaves and loose debris
- A visual inspection of the roof while we’re up there, flagging anything else worth knowing about
- Hauling debris away is available separately, if you’d rather not deal with it on the ground
Signs You May Need Roof Cleaning
- Visible leaves, branches, or debris piled on your roof or sitting in valleys
- Large trees overhanging or close to your roofline
- A recent storm or windy stretch that dropped debris you can see from the ground
- Debris building up in your gutters as well as on the roof itself
Why Level 5
Debris left sitting on a roof holds moisture against the shingles and can accelerate the same kind of wear a leak eventually causes. Since we’re often already on a roof for an inspection or repair, a roof cleaning is a simple, affordable way to stop that buildup before it becomes a bigger problem.
Pricing
A standard roof sweep takes between 45 minutes to 1 Hour and starts at $150 for homes up to 2,000 sq ft (steep roofs, split-level/2 Story homes have added cost) — we clear loose branches and blow off leaves and debris so nothing sits on your roof holding moisture. Want the debris hauled away instead of left on the ground? That’s available for an additional cost.
